After you select some category or picture, you have a few milliseconds to wait for uploading the information - pictures only. The slowest is the big-main picture on the front page which is in the center of attention. In other words, you have to wait a few milliseconds so you can see all the information. Maybe it gives the impression of lower web quality. The same goes for pictures from front page.
