If an empty server runs on the same map for a while, when you join it there are double explosions from rockets and grenades, until you load another map. I think sometimes player models can be disappearing for a split second too.
If the map a server was left running is oasago2 it makes the server noticeably laggy, not sure if this happens with any other map.
Also if an empty server was left running on the same map for really long, like several days, it can become impossible to join it (players get stuck at "Awaiting gamestate"). Loading same or another map fixes this.
I'm not sure there's a point creating bug report because this seems to be an engine problem.
An empty server could reload a map once in a while to work around this.
There would need to be a way to adjust times or time frames for this so that several servers on the same machine don't reload maps at once because this can be quite taxing on resources.
