ImageMagick version

6.9.10-23

Operating system

Linux

Operating system, version and so on

Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS

Description

IIRC it was possible to resize a window without resizing the image but now it only works sometimes and there are some interesting side effects...

Steps to Reproduce

Display any image with the display command, then click on the image and press F. When the window is resized, the image should remain the same size. I.e. when the window is made smaller, only part of the image is visible and you have to use the pan function to see the other part of the image.
BTW: when the window is enlarged again, strange things happen. Is this a known feature?
