If I issue an API call to updateTasksService using the ID of a task that belongs to a different user, I receive a success response, although the task is apparently not modified.

Same when using a task ID that doesn't exist.

We are in the process of rewriting the frontend for tasks. Any outstanding bugs and enhancements for the old interface will be taken into account as we implement the new design.
