This is just a thought, but:

  • add a filter to the admin notices hook that:
    • checks if it's being displayed at a inndev.staging.wpengine.com domain or subdomain, and if it is:
    • displays a "Hey, you!" notice with a list of the correct URLSs
  • the box is dismissable by users

This would be a plugin that could be activated even on the live site, since the URL on inn.org and its subdomains would never match.
