Reg: Month of birth question

When you put the month of birth in numbers, would be good to link it automatically to the name of the month for avoid different numbers in the database.

The month is entered as a name from the auto-complete option.

However, the auto-complete is obscure and user can still enter a number. We may put some text about the auto-complete, e.g. start typing the month, something like this...

Can we do a drop-down list of the months instead of using an autocomplete for this field?
