The laser controls sometimes behave a bit strangely. I expect that a laser should be on when all the following are true:

  • The enable box is checked.
  • The laser slider has nonzero intensity.
  • The "Open Shutters" button is enabled.

However sometimes lasers don't come on even when all of those things are true. In that case the laser does come on if I simply uncheck and recheck the laser enable checkbox. @kdw503 I think this is a bug?

I will check this with the ocpi-2 now.
Does this happen right after recording?

This is much better now, but not perfect. Sometimes I still have to uncheck and re-check the laser enable box in order to get the laser to come back on. I think this may be related to communication between the two Imagine windows, but I'm not sure. By the way, should we disable the "Open shutter" and "Close shutter" buttons in the camera 2 window? They don't seem to work, and I think we don't need them.
