• Not dependent on Bootstrap.
• Needs to have minimal dependencies.
• Needs to be responsive.
• Having slide transitions (Optional).

@devshiva619 you can follow this link https://medium.com/@ItsMeDannyZ/build-an-image-slider-with-react-es6-264368de68e4. Since the carousel is a part of react-bootstrap which we are going to avoid, you can not use it. but if you can suggest a small library which does it you are welcome.

@iamchathu I was enrolled as one of the participant of gssoc program. I have sound knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, bootstrap and angular. As of your requirement,I will create slider using any of the above said language. Hope I will get this chance to create slider?

Dear @Sbabureddy happy to see you are with GSSOC, Have you look at our project. It is Gatsby project. Which as React based front-end and GraphQL for the data layer. For this issue. We need to create a react component for the slider which then can use on the homepage. As I mentioned we need to have minimal dependencies and we are looking at a React component which is not dependant on bootstrap. The goal is to make participants learn more about React.

For this project, anybody can work on the issue and create PRs. All people send good PRs to get marked points and the merged PR owner will get additional points.
