When purging or doing prime line the extruder motor and mmu are not synchronized

Describe the bug and expected behavior

Is it normal that during purging and prime line execution, the mmu filament drive does not synchronize with the extruder motor? In my opinion, synchronization should always be active when pushing the filament. If the prime line or purging has a large volume, the extruder will not be able to pull the filament from the spool.
