SonarQube is an open platform to manage code quality. This plugin activate ability to analyze other branch than master branch, it is an open source and independent version of the commercial versions of SonarQube.

- Setup a SonarQube instance
- Install the plugin in <sonar_install_dir>/extensions/plugins
- Start SonarQube
- Run an analysis by specifying
sonar.branch.nameproperty
- Run analysis on different branches
- Sign-in as an administrator
- Set following properties
sonar.branch.longLivedBranches.regex: set the regular expression to recognize long living branchessonar.dbcleaner.daysBeforeDeletingInactiveShortLivingBranches: set time before deleting short living branches
