Yoroi is basically unusable for Ergo #2847

I have the same problem! |
@FrankDev34 Would it not be better to get a response here so we can all see what is going on? This is not an isolated issue for @Aquaritek. I am experiencing the exact situation that is outlined in this issue and if you look around the Ergo Discord channel it is clear that many users are having this exact issue. In fact, Ergo has removed Yoroi as a recommended wallet from their website. However, the Yoroi site still claims that it supports Ergo. |
@hglattergotz pretty positive @FrankDev34 is a scammer and maybe even a bot. Please don't follow that link. |
I just found out how move Ergo funds from Yoroi wallets. All you need to do is download the official ergo wallet app from the playstore and choose restore wallet. Enter your seed phrase. your yoroi wallet is now added to the ergo wallet app. now you can send and verify the transaction form the wallet app. Please share this across the community. I only had 2 erg on yoroi, but from what i understand some people have alot more erg |
Hello,
I haven't opened up Yoroi in a while as I've just been holding ergo as well as several assets purchased on ErgoDex since the beginning of the year. The description of my problem is simple - upon opening Yoroi the application is basically unusable. Taking a very long time to load the transactions page as well as consuming about 2GB of memory and utilizing over 50% of my CPU resources. I have a i9-11900k overclocked to 5.4GHZ across all cores... whoa!
Anyway, I am unable to sync with the chain, gain access to my assets and send or receive anything because it's just locked up all the time. If I let it sit for about 30 minutes eventually the transactions page will load, and CPU suppression will decline but then moment I click anything we're waiting for another 30 minutes or so for that load to decline.
I attempted to send just 1 erg to another wallet as a test and I don't think it was even communicated with the chain - cannot find a transaction ID though Yoroi shows "submitted" after again waiting about 30 minutes for the transactions page to load.
I'm using Microsoft Edge Version 101.0.1210.39 (Official build) (64-bit)
With Yoroi plugin Version 4.11.410
What can be done about this, anything?
