Euro symbol no longer readable with small en medium font sizes

Hello.

We have some problems with the Euro symbol. With some small and medium font sizes the symbol is not rendered correctly in browsers and it is no longer readable (the symbol looks like a crescent moon).

The problem is accentuated when a white color is used on the font.
