NGO Data Not Appearing On DevTracker #216
Comments
Hi Nozipho I replied to Anjesh from Aidstream on this a couple of days ago...this was my reply... In order to make the links correctly in DevTracker and for other traceability initiatives, you need to do two things: participating-org: Make sure that you reference the organisation that directly funded your activity in the incoming funds: Reference the immediate funding activity by its iati-identifier in the incoming funds transaction, using If your organisation is not directly funded by DFID, then you should make reference to the next activity up the chain and ensure that all activities further up the chain are similarly marked up. We will write up and post further instructions on this in the wiki. John |
Dear John,
Thank you for your response.
I will be in touch should I require support from you.
Quick question: How can I change the IATI login details as the current one do not seem to be working;
username: admin-dapp
password: innom1982
Kind regards,
Nozipho

Hi Nozipho

In order to make the links correctly in DevTracker and for other traceability initiatives, you need to do two things:
**participating-org**: Make sure that you reference the **organisation that directly funded your activity** in the `participating-org/@ROLE=funding` element. This is likely to be an intermediary organisation, not DFID.
**incoming funds:** Reference the **immediate funding activity** by its iati-identifier in the incoming funds transaction, using `provider-org/provider-activity-id`. This is the key thing needed to make the link in DevTracker.
If your organisation is not directly funded by DFID, then you should make reference to the next activity up the chain and ensure that all activities further up the chain are similarly marked up.
We will write up and post further instructions on this in the wiki.
John

Dear Sir/Madam
I write on behalf of Development Aid from People to People (DAPP) Malawi which has been implementing UK Aid funded projects.
We request your technical support in ensuring that the information uploaded by DAPP on the IATI Registry should feed through to the UK Aid Direct Development Tracker.
Earlier on we had written to "support" support@aidstream.org; requesting technical support and they advised we create an issue on Github.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Kind regards
Nozipho
