keep in mind protocol will likely change in future
can use dpmaster, or write new (finish jams/xsnms)

ideas:

built-in browser (web interface)
- from source of truth (not scraped by external tool)
- realtime updates (websocket not page refresh)
- ???
module for tracking servers (popularity, age)
module for stats reported from server (see xonstatdb)
- "ranked" whitelist servers (reduces exploitability)
look at challenge / handshake / authentication steps and improvements
