The disc cannot be read.

I have a PS2 Slim, dvd version 3.11u, and scph77001.
My ps2 wont read the disc.
I have tried my computers built in disc writer and Imgburn, both haven't worked.
I have tried cleaning the disc, writing a new one, using a real movie dvd to recalibrate the laser, and nothing has worked.
I'm not sure how to fix it, but the only thing I can think of is I need a 3.11e DVD reader version, because so far all I've seen is 3.11e from other people. The dvd I'm using is a verbatim dvd+r 4.7 gb. which also seems to be popular in the issues section.

Also, if I ever do get this working I don't actually know how to play games with it anyways. I would appreciate if someone could explain this to me as well.

i think its because of dvd+r mine is not reading it too scph-77xx 3.11D
