The ability to select an area to sync

Instead of using the whole screen, is it possible to implement a screen area selector to choose exactly what to sync to the bulbs? I want this because I can probably select the preview of my keyboard lights on the Project Aurora window on my second monitor while playing games to sync my keyboard effects with my hue bulbs.

you you tried the hight function in the Hue App setup? It has 3 possible hights.
