Detailed Description

I have designed a better looking climate interface. All that would need to be done is replace old climate image with new one simply swap image.

i have also removed background which i can include. all my other backgrounds have been removed as i don't like the look of this.

I'm fact, we have too many requests to change the background. I'm fine with the existing one, but I would also like to have more flexibility.
However, there are some challenges here... First, and probably biggest, is the fact that Nextion does not supports transparency on pictures or backgrounds.
This imposes some limitations in two specific cases:

• The weather pics on home page. Those are currently pics with black background, so it must be over a black area of the page.
  One option here would be using MDI icons with bigger size, however that limits the multi-colored icons used now.
  Another option would be to have a few pre-selected background colors for those pics and arrange an engine to show the right one (this is the easy part).
• The rounded buttons are also pics, so if we want selectable backgrounds, we need to make those squared or use paint tools to dynamically plot those (I'm afraid of performance issues - must be tested). Or have pre-selected colors.

Very interesting they don't support transparency and does make changes harder. I have actually tweaked the Home Screen. I have changed fonts and changed weather icons. I used transparent icons which ended up adding a white background which looked horrible. Went into the nextion settings and changed replace transparency colour to 0 and now looks great.

I have limited experience with these displays but can get get by with changing simple things on these.
