Hi Dear all,

1. I have tried to simulate a saturated soil model with phreatic surface located above the saturated soil surface. But the results show that the hydrostatic head is equal to the height of soil surface (The bottom of soil is selected as the datum of the position head). How to set the free water surface correctly without "Submerged analysis"? Not only excess pore pressure, but also the hydrostatic pressure needs to be obtained.
2. I found that there is an option "Reset displacement" in the "Calculation Data"dialogue box. Will the displacement of the material points be reset after each calculation step (or load step)?

Please allow me to add some questions about convergence criteria. There are six convergence parameters in the .ENG file, which are "KineticError ", "ForceError", "KineticErrorSoil", "ForceErrorSoil", "KineticErrorLiquid" and "ForceErrorLiquid". But only four tolerated errors could be setted in "Calculation Data". Could you please tell me which parameters in .ENG file are corresponding to the tolerated errors in .CPS file? And why is the "ForceErrorSoil" in .ENG file constant at 99999 with the increase of time step?
