Firefox Android: Will not show me/let me consent to using the plugin

Describe the bug

The popup to agree to consent is not showing up to use the add-on despite clicking the consent button.
To Reproduce

Firefox -> Request desktop site -> extensions -> consent privacy notice

Expected behavior

To be able to consent and enable the extension
