Hover not working over VLC video

When hovering the mouse over the VLC drawing area, the enter function does not work thereby not showing the buttons. However when hovering over the area outside of the VLC drawing area, the buttons do show.

So it's kinda the same problem as we had before where VLC takes precedence over the input, but this time only upon hover.

I think this is platform specifc, as it works as intended under windows.
