Will Microsoft be unhappy with its copyright?
No. MS's Windows 10 logo does not meet the threshold of originality needed for copyright protection, and is therefore in the public domain.
Trademark?
Ummm... We are not causing confusion as long as users can tell the distinction between greyscales. A user with some transparency-only vision may confuse the two logos.
