defs #2
Comments
Lengthy defs are fine. If they include some formatting then mark them up and use the Lengthy labels not so much - labels are typically used in user-interfaces to help selection, so if they are too long the menus get ugly. BUT if these are the 'labels' in the book, then they should definitely be reflected in the machine-readable version. The book is the ultimate point-of-truth. We should try to manage encoding and content-fixing separately. |
Currently I only have access to Fed Uni purchased online version of scma. And it has a cut and paste % of text limit. So, will need another source/way of doing this in light of having CSIRO publishing agreement now. May need to touch base w Linda about how she did this for yellow book. |
Also, this work will also take some time I imagine - may be time/resourcing prioritisation issue |
Do you have the contract for the revision? |
