cmi5 Specification Changes
Issue #390 - Section 7.0 repeated/confusing requirements
Change section 13.1.4 AU Metadata - (Description of URL) as follows:
Description:
- A relative or fully qualified URL that references the launch point of the AU.
- To accommodate "non-browser" applications, an application specific protocol may be used in the url:
<scheme>://<URL to content>
- Regardless of the value of , the remaining portion of the URL MUST conform to RFC1738 - Uniform Resource Locators (URL).
- If the url includes a query string, the values from that query string MUST be merged with the cmi5 parameters at launch time (see Section 8.1.1 of the cmi5 Runtime Environment).
Change Section 7.0 AU Requirements to be more "normative". Eliminate MUST statements and remove duplication.
7.0 AU Requirements AU’s requirements to conform to this specification are as follows:
- Implement the runtime launch interface as defined in Section 8 - Content Launch Mechanisms.
- Implement runtime communication defined in the xAPI Specification.
- Implement State API requirements in this specification are defined in Section 10.
- Implement Profile API requirements in this specification are defined in Section 11.
- Implement Statement API requirements as defined in the following sub section.
Remove section 7.1 AU State API Requirements (as it is redundant)
