Notes

The group continued its discussion of Time calculation. Next Steps:

• Recommend Adding “Launch Mode” to statement contexts

  • is a better option (time spent in normal vs review can be aggregated by reviewing statement history)
  • Easier for compliance

• “running total” statement extension

  • could be derived for Statements (with Launch mode contexts)
  • Harder to define what it means (how is it calculated? Different calculation scenarios, many variables)

• If there better way to make time querying simpler, explore them

  • What kind of LRS queries do LMS’s need to support time aggregation?

The group also discussed the following issues:

Capitalization and quoting of concepts is not done consistently throughout the cmi5 Profile Specification document #773

Provide a description of the document convention of how we refer to statements. (i.e. a “Completed” Statement – is really a statement template of a cmi5 defined statement with a Completed verb.

Verb referencing consistency in the spec:

• Referring to type a Statement (A “Completed” Statement )
• Referring to a verb (Name) - Completed
• Referring to concept - ID
