Notes
The group discussed topics related AU re-entry after completion or mastery (Including "attempts" for higher score and the notion of "resetting" an AU).
-
Changes MasteryScore in course structure after course is in progress - If the AU already has issued a passed statement it will remain passed.
-
The notion of “attempts” does not map to cmi5 AU sessions. If an AU has a judged activity (quiz) it would have to management attempts using its state. Once it sends a passed statement, it cannot revise mastery.
-
When a learner completes or passes an AU and then returns to review, the AU could use it's state (or query the LRS for previous statements). The LMS also provides a "Review mode" parameter which the AU could also use for this purpose.
-
There is a Single registration per cmi5 course enrollment (all AU's) this is important because AU state documents are tied to registration.
-
An LMS could "reset" an individual AU by killing its State documents issuing a void a statement. (Or the LMS could issue a new registration).
