The group continued its discussion of proposed (new) cmi5 Features for spec version 2.0 (IEEE)

The group reviewed the following cmi5 Issues – Marked “Deferred to Next Release” –

• Section 8.2.3.1 Duplicate call to fetch URL. (Change SHOULD to MUST) #559

  • HTTP error code – 400 ? (200 because it is a valid. The error message is cmi5 not HTTP)
  • General agreement that it needs to added.

• 8.2.3.2 Allowed error-code values #624

  • General agreement that it needs to added. (see #559)

• languagePreference would be much easier to handle as an array #731

  • Why do we have language preferences?
  • Scenarios: Multi Lingual AU vs Multiple AU’s with different Language
  • Punt on Language Preferences?
  • Other Language management features
  • Statements based on language versions of AU?
  • Scenario, set language preference based on lesson title.
  • Array vs String
  • Needs to be Revisited

cmi5 spec Errata

• Final Line in 11.1 Language Preference is specified in the Agent Profile, it may display in its default language should capitalize 'MAY'?
