Document Style Conventions

The group completed the section 1.2 style conventions review.

Other grammar styles were discussed in the following issue:

• Issue # 799 Punctuation and grammatical edits for text in table fields “Description”, “LMS Usage”, and “Value Space”

Changes agreed to following changes proposed in this Issue:

• Apply periods
• Change value space to list
• Value Space: URL

The changes in verbiage will be revisited later.

Section - 4.0 Conformance defines the conformance term "NEED NOT" (which is no longer used elsewhere in the document) - the group agreed to remove it.

IEEE OpenSource Repo for cmi5

No updates this week.

Future Conformance Testing

The group discussed possible conformance testing scenarios:

• Conformance Testing – Customer as “Certifying Authority” – the customer does the testing (self certification)?
• Customer Handbook for (self) testing conformance?
• Testing Services Document (for 3rd party testing orgs)?
• Focus on “how to develop cmi5” documentation (including testing)
